1. DG NPSL Attended Consultative Workshop on National Quality Policy (NQP), organized by MoST in collaboration with Trade Related Technical Assistance (TRTA-II) under UNIDO on 26-02-2013 at 09:00 am in Crystal Ball Hall, Marriot Hotel, Islamabad. Thoughts of National Policy and Measurement of Quality Infrastructure were discussed.
2. Scientists of NPSL attended ceremony “Earth Breaking of National Capacity Building Institute for Water Quality Management” organized by PCRWR on 04-03-2013 at 02:00 pm at the premises of PCRWR. Honourable Minister for Science and Technology Mir Changez Khan Jamali was the Chief Guest at this occasion.
3. NPSL Scientists attended meetings regarding Proficiency testing Laboratory with international consultant, UNIDO, JTA, Chairman, DG NPSL on various dates 12-03-013, 19-02-2013, 06-03-2013, 18-03-201, 27-03-2014, 01-04-2013, 18-07-2013, 22-07-2013, 13-09-2013, 16-26 July (10 days).
4. DG and cientists of NPSL attended a MoU signing Ceremony between MoST and Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad regarding “To Enhance and formalize S&T collaboration between Orgs. of MoST and Academia for promotion of demand driven applied research, indigenization of technologies and entrepreneurship development” held on 14-02-2013 in the Committee Room of MoST.
5. Attended Inaugural Ceremony of Cosmetics and Pharmaceutical Pilots” organized by PCSIR Laboratories Complex, Lahore on 10-03-2013 at 11:30 am in its Auditorium. The honourable Federal Minister for Science and Technology, Mir Changez Khan Jamali was the Chief Guest at this occasion which was attended by the DGs of all labs/units of PCSIR.
6. Consultative workshop organized between Pakistani and Iranian Herbal Products Manufracturers on 24 April, 2013. Iranian ambassador, Secretary MoST, Chairman PCSIR, DG NPSL etc. participated in the workshop.
7. Eighteen members for SAARC-PTB platform visited T&FMD on 23 April, 2013 to have knowledge about calibration facilities and expertise available.
8. APLAC member visited T&F Division with PNAC and MoST representatives. This visit was about the peer evaluation of PNAC to have knowledge about calibration facilities and expertise available.
9. Member of the planning commission and MoST representatives Islamabad visited T&F Division on 29 April, 2013 to have knowledge about calibration facilities and expertise available.
10. NPSL Scientists attended a workshop regarding Network Synchronization Roadshow 2013 in Marriot Hotel Islamabad on 05 June, 2013.
11. Scientists participated in International Conference on Regulation of Hydraulic Structures for Flood Management at p-Block Auditorium, Pak Secretariat Islamabad on 28, 29 June, 2013.
12. UNIDO representative visited T&F Division’s Trade Related Technical Assistance (TRTA) funded BMR project on 16 May, 2013 to have knowledge about calibration facilities and expertise available.
13. Flight Lt. Faryal and one other person form PAF Base Kamra Visited T&F Division on 10 June, 2013 to have knowledge about calibration facilities and expertise available.
14. Col. Dr. Ayaz from Military Hospital Rawalpindi visited T&F Division on 08 July, 2013 to have knowledge about calibration facilities and expertise available.
